Yuqi Tang

I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Rice University in Houston, TX (2017). I performed undergraduate research in the field of biomedical imaging while focusing on developing an automatic low-cost alternative to flow cytometry as well as a non-contact photoacoustic endoscopy. I am pursuing my doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering at Duke University as a member of the Photoacoustic Imaging Lab. My main research interests are using photoacoustic computed tomography for non-invasive mouse brain vasculature imaging and exploring the value of photoacoustic imaging as a guidance for sonothrombolysis treatment.
