Stevens Institute of Technology
I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biomedical engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in my home state of New Jersey. While at Stevens, I became strongly interested in imaging modalities through my capstone, NeuroTiC, which utilized digital image correlation (DIC) to quantify surface tissue strain during craniotomies. I have chosen to continue my education at Duke to refine my understanding of biomedical imaging, specifically the use of photoacoustic imaging, through the pursuit of a PhD.
