In addition to being selected to present at SPIE Photonics West 2026 BIOS Hot Topics, Dr. Yao was also recognized for his contributions to both SPIE Photonics West and the field of photoacoustics through this award, presented by conference chairs Dr. Oraevsky and Dr. Wang.
